Did you know that turmeric in higher doses inhibits prostaglandin (=certain group of tissue hormones that mediate inflammation, pain and spasms) synthesis in the same way as ibuprofen does?

ingredients:
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1 cup of water
- 1 tsp freshly grated lemon zest
- 1 tsp freshly grated turmeric
- 1/2 tsp freshly grated ginger
- juice of 1/3 lemon
- 1 cup frozen red berries
- 1 apple diced
- 1 tbsp orange bulb
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- pinches of cardamom, chili, turmeric, ginger, nutmeg, salt
- topped with dried mixed fruits, 1/2 apple
method:
- Rub / grate ginger, turmeric and lemon zest
- Cook oats, 1/2 apple, chia seeds, spices, turmeric and ginger rub with water
- Reduce heat, let it simmer for about 5 min, add lemon zest, stir well
- Add lemon juice and flaxseed oil
- Transfer into bowl, top with the other half of the apple, orange bulb and dried fruits
